We're on Flickr!

Recently our UNL Pesticide Education Office has completed work on a new Flickr page. In it you'll find categories for PSEP and IPM videos (including dramatizations); insects, birds, and mammals (pests or otherwise); plants and diseases; IPM coalition and demonstrations; conferences; calibration and equipment; and many other related topics.

These photos are available to download for free and you can search them by category at http://bit.ly/I45HjH OR by tags at http://bit.ly/I45OM5 .

Greenhouse Videos

We have two new PSEP videos up on our UNLExtensionPSEP YouTube channel! The first is a visit with a greenhouse owner, who discusses his operation and what is involved in growing produce that will go to farmer's markets and other venues: http://www.youtube.com/user/UNLExtensionPSEP#p/u/4/o34z4Z-FmuY

The second video, formatted like a newscast feature, explores Worker Protection Standard procedures in a greenhouse: http://www.youtube.com/user/UNLExtensionPSEP#p/u/5/pUO6xV0UUKk

Enjoy these and other PSEP videos we have available on our YouTube channel about IPM and pesticide education and safety!

Coming soon...the much anticipated "How to Conduct IPM in Schools" video!

UNL Pesticide Education Videos

We're ready to go viral! The UNL Pesticide Education Office now has its own YouTube channel with many video segments about pests, pesticide safety, pesticide laws and regulations and IPM related topics. Some of these are demonstrations, while others are dramatizations or spoofs, such as "What to Wear," a parody of the TLC reality show "What Not to Wear," which teaches a pesticide applicator the importance of wearing PPE.

You can become a "fan" of our page or leave comments about any of the videos. We encourage you to do so!

You can watch the videos at UNLExtensionPSEP!
